Livelihood Training in Baking and Cake Decoration

The Livelihood Training in Baking and Cake Decoration lectures and demonstration formally started on June 27, 2015 at 9:00 in the morning at Livelihood Training Center of Brgy. Alawihao, Daet Camarines Norte. There were 21 participants of the training activity. On the first day of training, Mrs. Angelita M.  Orendain showed the participants the different tools and equipment in baking and explained its uses. She presented the actual sample of each tool and equipment so that the participants get acquainted and familiarized it easily.

After the demonstration in baking and cake decorations, Doctor Sonia Carbonell lectured about the topic “Dengue” to give some information about this kind of illness and for the awareness of all the members in that particular barangay on how it would be avoided. Maám Leah Barbado was the next lecturer on that day, she discussed about the topic on “Malnutrition”. The lectures in the morning ended at 12:00 noon, the participants went back to their own homes for the lunch. After taking their lunch, the first speaker in the afternoon was Doctor Marcela Pajarillo, she discussed about “Anti-Bullying” as for the parents to get aware on what is happening with their children and the effect of these in school performance. After the lecture of Doctor Pajarillo, Maám Nemia Vecida and Sir Roberto Vecida gave some energetic exercises together with the students from Abaño campus. It was “Fitness Wellness” for the participants to become aware that exercise is very important in daily living. After that tiring exercise, Doctor Ela Regondola gave a lecture regarding the different kinds of herbal medicines; the participants were very enthusiastic in listening to the topic because some of that herbal medicine was grown in their backyards.
